Payday and lack of self-control

Well, I had to really, they sent me vouchers…

First MyFabrics, then TiaKnight, a terrible temptation as I’m a fan of both.  Since making the shirts for the missus, I actually fancy one for myself.  I stopped wearing shirts some years ago, when my boobs expanded and RTW shirts all gaped unbecomingly at the buttonholes.  Not a good look when you’re teaching in a boys’ school, I think you’ll agree.

So I’ve been wearing pull on tops ever since.  While I’m happy with that, and really like my wardrobe right now, a shirt or two  might be nice.  One definitely needs to be a plain white cotton, so I ordered a couple more metres of Tia Knight’s stretch cotton poplin, a good stash reliable, and some of MyFabric’s ‘Tula cotton soft’ which may be more opaque, I’ll find out in due course.

Of course, I had to browse dammit.  And ended up with some of this lovely stuff also from TK.  Remember the thought about the suede look DK jacket?  Watch me now…

I was also looking for something for the missus on ebay, honest, when I fell into The Textile Centre’s vortex of yum again.  I got parrots, green roses and flames.
