That’s me! I got the oil out [thank you Vanish] and hung them up to dry while I went back to college to do my evening class.
So here are a few silly pics of me showing my huuuuuuuge but quite pretty Edwardian combinations. I’m not bothering with a waistline casing, as these will be worn under a corset in any case.
Pattern: Wearing History e-pattern, straight size 18, no alterations.
Fabric: plain white cotton sheeting from the rag market, very cheap indeed
Lace: from stash, also rag market originally. Looks like a nice crunchy cotton lace, but it’s poly. Neckline lace is a scrap from stash that was EXACTLY the right length, narrow lilac ribbon also from stash.
Buttons: 2 boring plastic buttons from stash.
All very fast, very easy, and apart from The Great Oily-Fluff Disaster, fun. I’ll be making more of these!
