SWA(SP)P 2016-Pack 2[and 4]-#17: Done and dusted

I haven’t done my hair for these, but I’m still pretty chuffed with the final look.  The bodice did up with no trouble at all beyond the buttonholes being a bit stiff still…

First, silver underskirt, lilac drape/overskirt, and lilac bodice:

I keep seeing that sag at the front of the silver skirt, and it’s annoying me.  I’ll take it up from the waist I think.  The length is perfect, despite the way it seems to be folding on the floor- it’s just catching on the long-pile rug, honest!

I’ve decided to go with the lilac-y sequinned motifs after all, they work quite nicely in that position I think.

Next, the detachable train..er..attached!

And finally, with the bolero jacket from the Wildcard pack.  It photographed more clearly this time!

  2. I agree – Magnificent with a big capital M. Just need somewhere to go that will compliment all that magnificence. I’m sure that you’ll outshine many.

  7. Such sartorial elegance!! Well done, it looks fabulously decadent and gorgeously sumptious . Your creativity and speed of production makes me excedingly envious. OK enough of the gushing 😁 Lovely job though!! We’re nearly at the end of moving so may be a chance of seeing you & D in the not too distant future.

  10. Great to see the finished ensemble after following it over the weeks. It looks fabulous and really suits you. Love the taffeta.

    1. You’re perfectionist, that’s why- I just cobble onwards! I’m very happy with this I must admit, AND it doesn’t require a very restrictive corset either. Double result!
