Hunting, a fun t’ing.

No pictures in this post [or not many], as I’m writing it at work [bad Fairy].  I’m off dinosaur hunting in Wales after work today, a special birthday treat with 40 or so steampunks.dan-yr-ogof-20

We’re leaving straight from work, so I had to sort and pack all my possible outfits [weather and activity dictated] last night.  I also made a pair of Thai fisherman’s trousers for the missus, and baked three lemon cakes for my AS students, who take their final maths module exam this afternoon.

I can’t find my ruddy Victorian divided drawers anywhere- I turned the house upside down, threw stuff around, had a tantrum, and sulked for an hour.  Vanished.  Gremlins have stolen my knickers, this is not funny! [Stop laughing]

Anyway, no posts til after the fun and games, so I thought I’d drop by and leave this.

Oh yes, the 6Napoleon dress- I had a brainwave, and with the aid of 2 pieces of paper towel and four staples, I made a mock up of the skirt which works very nicely.  The silk has arrived, so I’m twitching to cut it up!

  1. Sorry for laughing. Honest. I hope you find your drawers. Did you try the fridge? I seem to find a surprising amount of what I’ve lost in there.
