Term has started, work is very tiring [of course] and I look forward to sewing in the evenings. Unfortunately, despite gorgeous stash goodies singing siren songs, and new patterns arriving at frequent intervals, I can’t seem to get it together.
I did a bit of sewing on my Edwardian combinations last night, and all went swimmingly until I sewed a perfect French seam inside out. Wah!
I’ve diverted myself this afternoon making lists and organising a few plans, as the SWAP method appears to suit me. I haven’t decided yet if I will join this year’s SWAP, which apparently will be appearing before much longer.
Here are the current faves, some matched to fabrics, some not. I still don’t know quite where to start, but suspect I need to clear a couple of things from the Crate Of Shame as penance, then maybe get cracking on a corset or two. Perhaps if I work from the inside, something will click?
Maybe by organising into groups, like this, I can start to see the wood through the trees?
I can’t seem to get started on anything, unfortunately can’t finish anything either!

Well I’ve had a push and got my coms all done bar the buttons, and I THINK I know what I’m going to cut out next. If I can be bothered…

I am putting the fabric I had planned to sew for summer for me away and will dredge the stash for more suitable fabric since it’s cooling down. Maybe I’ll actually sew this lot. *sigh*
Good luck finding your sewjo. Is it hiding with mine?

It’s always nice to know that sometimes someone else can’t decide what to do next too!
