A short post, but hopefully a bit of fun. I’ve just spent a couple of hours watching some brilliant little video lectures which I found on FaceBook, and followed to YouTube. THey’re from a series called ‘The Ultimate Fashion History’ and really do run the gamut of fashionable [mostly western] style through the ages.
I’m including links to two of my favourite eras, the late 10th century, and the very early, pre-WWI era. Take a look if you like, they talk about fashion ideals, underwear, the influence of societal changes on fashion, and even a bit of menswear. And they have loads of fab images, some of which you may recognise from some of my earlier posts.
Be warned, you may get caught up for quite a while!
I’d imagine that that’s what you would lecture like if you didn’t do maths!
That woman’s mad!!!
Fabulous watching: 1970s is the best….

Totally. I want to find the series about men’s fashion that she mentions, too.
