  1. Awww I think she looks absolutely great in that. It’s a lovely dress and she is a fabulous model. I bet she loves it. My mum used to love the creations I made her. At least she said she did!!

    1. bless she’s very self conscious since she had the Bell’s, but still said I could put the pics up. I think she’s unlikely to grow, just keep shrinking. I could get her to stand on a box lol

  2. Your mum looks smashing in her dress and she has the most beautiful hair. I hope that my looks that lovely when I stop dyeing it. I love that fabric and that 8014 pattern makes a great dress. Are you going to attempt it for yourself? I have it too and put it in my bag to have a look at this morning. Spooky! Xx

    1. Mum’s hair went white well before she was my age- I think I’m taking more after my dad: plenty of grey, but definitely not lovely and snowy like mum’s. I may make a shirt dress, but they’re so firmly ‘mum’s style’ in my mind, that I would probably feel fuddy! I’ll stick with the srt teacjer stuff for a while I think. It’s a nice pattern though

  3. I love this post! My mum is in a home now, in her wheelchair, squabbling with the other residents over which table she and I are going to sit at when I go visit. I enjoy every minute, squabbling or not, that I spend with her now. I think you will always remember “the time I made mum a dress and she modelled it with a smile on her face”! Lots of fun!
