A month of posting every day! I nearly missed one, and had to learn how to schedule. I’ve developed a faster technique for blogging, as I’ve been typing in Word, then pasting into WordPress, and dragging pre-selected images from IMGUR. Quite efficient.
I wonder if I’ll manage to be as disciplined again? Unlikely, until next year’s writing month. I found myself shamelessly re-hashing previous posts, revisiting past makes, and trying to be as cheeky as possible in interpreting the prompts. I’ve stuck to them pretty well, only deviating when I was totally flummoxed.
I think that, just as with the discipline of a SWAP competition, I can cope with such stringent requirements for a while, but that it is basically inimical to my natural style…totally random, slapdash, and only initiated by when I have something to show or say.
The scheduling technique may prevent another two months of dead air next year when I’m exam marking again though, which should please anyone mad enough to require frequent Fairy-fixes.
Now, I need to write a post about the fun and games at Asylum this weekend, and then perhaps another about some ideas I’ve just started marinating ready for Asylum 2018! 360 days to go, ideas a-bubbling…
I think posting only when there’s something to say is better. Posting every day no matter what can be rather harsh on the readers… 😉
