Another McCall’s 5056 in plain black cotton poplin and black/white cotton. [Remember the maxi some months back? ]
Elastic waist, more than a full circle [not for windy days] but rather elegant I think.
Nothing more to say, but I love it. We tried to get a good twirling pic, but…well take a look lol

Beautiful!
The changing heights of the tops of godets is lovely–also the fullness of the whole skirt!

Thanks- it’s so fast to sew too [at least the way I put it together anyway lol] Very simple, fun to wear, an overlooked gem

The bottom photo looks like unseen hands are torcing you in different directions and that it concerns you that they are doing so! The skirt is nice with those boots, and I can see the folly of trying to get twirling photos with those smallsmall stepping stones and gravel–

It is rather elegant but also nicely dramatic. It’s a really good shape for your slim hips and nice legs. Lovely Fairy – fit to go on the top of any tree!

Awesome! I bet this is very versatile because black and white go with so much else. Wearable and yet very distinctive at the same time

Gorgeous – but it must be weird on your eyes to press 😉

a little. It was ‘orrible while I was sewing it, so the lines are wonkier than even my ususal codge jobs but who would ever take a ruler to it? lol
