Cheaper by the Dozen– there have been several versions of this, but I love the 1950 one.
Large families are amusing in film, but I find them alarming in real life! Maybe I was over influenced by this, 7 Brides for 7 Brothers, and The Sound of Music lol
a dozen eggs: we’re using a LOT of eggs right now. It’s my wife’s go-to snack or breakfast [and she makes the BEST poached eggs, seriously], then of course, being at home I’m doing more baking. Fortunately we’ve got a fantastic farmshop a reasonably short drive away, and they’ve had no shortages, although they are limiting you to one dozen max.
the Dirty Dozen: I’m not sure if I’ve even seen this, but maybe I have…war films all blend into one for me I’m afraid
talking 19 to the dozen: Well yes, that’s me. It’s my job after all, chalk and talk. According to the missus, I should listen more. I’ll work on it lol
