  1. I think it’s a WordPress thing, though I know that’s no help – sorry. My first blog was with WP and it would’ve driven me mental if I hadn’t got out while the going was still good and shifted over to Blogger.
Thanks for sharing your story. I love a bit of “couture” too, though I’m not as proficient as you. I’m looking forward to reading more posts,
    Happy New Year,

  2. Love a blog with a bit of humour to it. Thanks! Maybe I’ll even learn a thing or two. I have sewn some fab kids’ Hallowe’en costumes over the years (good god, no, not my own kids), but would really like to learn how to fit clothes to my own body. Ah, well… one day.

  3. Love your work!! I just saw it on one of the groups I am in and adore it. Had to go hunt for your blog here so I can keep up with your shenanigans. . er. . sewing endeavors. 🙂 🙂 🙂 Love the pictures and the backgrounds are just absolutely gorgeous. 🙂

  4. Spooky, I just came on over to your blog because I hadn’t seen a post from you for a while and was wondering if my RSS reader was messed up, and saw you’d updated this page pretty recently. Sorry to hear you’re still grappling with health problems, and wishing you very rapid improvement. I’ve been reminding myself of your steampunk SWAP – inspirational stuff.

  5. I finally got time to go back through your archives and enjoyed it a lot. Thank you for a most enjoyable blog. So sorry to come to your last post and find you have health issues. Hope you will be able to continue to enjoy sewing.

  6. Can I echo what Louise Armstrong said last year.
I discovered your blog through sewing pattern review a while ago. After doing lots of sewing when I was young, I stopped for ages – never seemed to have the time to do anything other than house stuff. I resumed proper sewing a couple of years ago, and discovered some wonderful and inspiring blogs like yours. Thank you, I’ve really enjoyed it.
It’s been a long time since you posted anything, so I hope you’re OK – feeling better, still teaching and still sewing.
